Bashco Trading Company Limited, popularly referred to as “the Store that gives you more,” was founded in 1990 by Gassan Azan in Kingston, Jamaica. It was initially established to fill a niche in the wholesale market, where goods were imported  from the Far East and sold wholesale to vendors across Jamaica. This innovative approach quickly gained traction, with Bashco’s travelling salesmen distributing household and haberdashery goods throughout the country. As market demand evolved, so did the company. Bashco transitioned from a primarily wholesale operation, the company expanded its focus to retail, leading to the growth of its network of stores across Jamaica.
